Robert Gray 82, of Layton, Utah. Our beloved husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa, brother and friend sadly passed away February 17, 2022, in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family who loved him dearly.

Robert was born in June of 1939 in Oakley, Idaho to Robert Hunter and Sarah Callahan. He was raised in Hawthorne, Nevada where he graduated high school and then joined the United States Air Force where he met the love of his life, Maria. Together, they had two children, Kathleen and Robert.

He served one year in Vietnam and after 20 Years of service he retired as Master Sargent. After the Military he had various other jobs.

He had and enjoyed many hobbies, but he was most known for his model RC airplanes. His other hobbies also included trains and boats. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Maria; his children, Kathleen (John) Mark and Robert; grand child Jessica (Anthony); great grandchildren, Payshantz and Elli; his siblings, Sharlene (Dior) Spears; Jay (Karol) Gray and family; Kay (Susan) Gray and family. He is proceeded in death by both of his parents, three nephews and one niece.

Robert did not want any type of service, but a celebration of life is to be determined at a later date.
