Robin Ray Hamilton, age 71, passed away on February 3, 2024 in West Bountiful, Utah.


He was born on November 9, 1952 in Lakeland, Florida to Connie Ray Hamilton and Mary Arnell Donald and had 2 brothers, Danny and Timothy. He is survived by a stepdaughter, three sons, Ray, Ryan, Scot, and 12 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father, Connie Ray, mother, Mary Arnell, and grandson, O’wyn.

 

Robin Ray was an Eagle Scout. He went on to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the Anaheim Mission, California. He served a four-year term in the United States Air Force in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He raised his family from New Mexico to Florida, and from Utah to Alberta Canada, with a love for the outdoors and with an eye for appreciated the beauty our world.

 

He spent his life dedicated to family and his passion for art, particularly photography. He enjoyed collecting strange and interesting things and always had a fun story to tell. That creativity and childlike curiosity never faded with age.

 

Robin Ray met Apryl Lorie Cameron while at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. They married in 1974 and later divorced.

 

In accordance with Robin Ray’s wishes, no services will be held. This time will be observed by his immediate family.
