Rocky Lynn Johnson

Rocky Lynn Johnson, 42, passed away at his home in Roy on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.

Rocky was born in Ogden, Utah to Cindy Dickson and Rock Johnson. Rocky was raised in Clearfield Utah by his mother and step-father Scott Dickson with his sisters Jessica Dickson and Joanna Tubbs and his brother Mathew Dickson.

In 1998, Rocky was blessed with the birth of his son, Alan Johnson-Lazenby. On June 21, 2006 Rocky married his best friend, Jennifer (Rolow) Johnson and together they raised two additional children, Quentin Robinson and Maliah Robinson.

Rocky loved his football and bled blue for the Cowboys, NASCAR, family barbeques, fishing, and spending time with his kids, nephews, and niece.

Rocky is survived by his parents, Rock Johnson, Ogden, UT; Cindy Child -Dickson and Scott Dickson, Clearfield UT; three sisters and one brother: Jessica Dickson, Joanna Tubbs (Mark Tubbs), Evaleisa Pomeroy-Fox and Mathew Dickson (Amara Macri). Rocky was preceded in death by his grandparents, Golden and Roxanna Johnson and Don Carlos and Mary Child, his aunt, Vonita R. Johnson-Butters, cousin, Jennifer Price, and sister, Jasmine Jimenez.

Rocky was an extremely intelligent and very independent. Rocky was regarded as the leader of his siblings. He was a selfless soul that went above and beyond to ensure the wellbeing of others. He will never be forgotten.

Friends may visit with the family to remember Rocky on Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m on Friday April 12, 2019 at the mortuary. Rocky’s in-laws Michael and Carol Rolow, will be hosting a celebration of life to remember Rocky at their home, 495 W. 300 N. Clearfield, following the services.
