Rodney D Cole

My beloved husband Rodney D. Cole, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, passed away April 14, 2025 at his home with loved ones around.

Rod served in the United States Marine Corps, he was a veteran.

Rod love fishing, hunting, boating, camping, he loved being in the outdoors and going to Strawberry Reservoir.

He worked at Hill Air Force Base as a sheet metal mechanic for 33 ½ years before he retired in 2016. He then went to work at Kent’s in Clearfield, Utah, then Plain City for many years.

Rod was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers. He is survived by his wife Linda Cole, six children, two brothers, one sister, 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Rod was loved by all that knew him and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held Monday April 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah. friends and family may visit Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary prior to the service.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd., Ogden, Utah.
