LAYTON a€" Rodney D. Miller, 45, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2007. He was born February 22, 1962, in Peoria, IL, the son of Ralph Devon and Carol Rae Miller. He was raised in Illinois and was a member of the LDS Church. He was active in Boy Scouts and youth leadership. He received his Bachelor''s Degree from Park University. He was retired from the USAF and served in Operation Desert Storm.

Rod married Lisa Ann Richardson August 29, 1981. He was the father of three sons and was the best dad in the whole world. He will be greatly missed. He enjoyed serving others and was always willing to help.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa, sons: Rodney Devon (R.D. & Amber) Miller; Ryan David Miller, and Randy Darin Miller. Preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Holmes Creek Stake Center, 125 Chapel Street, Layton, UT. Friends and family may call Friday, April 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.
