Roger J. Beal 1934 ~ 2009 RIVERDALE – Roger Joseph Beal, 74, loving husband, father, brother and grandfather died peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2009 in Salt Lake City. He was born April 8, 1934 in Ft. Scott, Kansas, a son of Raymond Milburn and Eva Garrett. On May 7, 1960, Roger married Florence Esther Rivers in Reno, Nevada. Roger served with the U.S. Air Force for over 20 years. He loved to travel and study history. Roger is survived by his wife of 49 years, Florence, of Riverdale; one daughter, Tammy Arlene and Ken Archer, Roy; two grandchildren, Jonathan Archer and Kristen Archer, both of Bismarck, ND; and one sister, Lois Reeves, Lawrence, KS. Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Rosewood Lane Church of the Nazarene, 455 S. Rosewood Lane, Layton, with Pastor John Utz officiating.
