OGDEN a€" Roger Dennison Bills, 71, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and brother-in-law, passed away peacefully in the company of his loving family as he returned home to his Heavenly Father.

He was born January 10, 1937 in Vernal, Utah, a son of Glenn M. and Della Dennison Bills. He was raised in LaSalle, Utah moving to Ogden at the age of 15.

Roger married Verla Diane Lythgoe on August 29, 1956 in Aztec, New Mexico and their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple in January of 1964.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended the Mt. Lewis 5th Ward for 30 years. He served as an Elder''s Quorum President and a Boy Scout Leader.

He was employed by Lindquist''s Memorial Parks for 25 years until arthritis forced him to take a medical retirement.

Roger enjoyed spending quality time with his kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews hunting, camping, fishing, shooting and family gatherings.

He is survived by is loving wife, Verla, three children, Denise (Steve) Darby, Roger K. (Charlette) Bills, Emmett (Teresa) Bills, 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three children, Scot, Donna, and Duane, three brothers and one sister.

Roger will be truly missed.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, West Warren Cemetery.
