Roger Edward Hock

Roger Edward Hock age 53 our husband, father, son and friend passed away May 21, 2010 at his home in Bountiful, Utah.

He was born August 18, 1956 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Irving A. Hock and Joyce Edward Hock. He married Margaret Carol Muchow May 17, 1986 in Salt Lake City.

He graduated from Bountiful High School and attended the University of Utah where he was member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Roger loved airplanes and worked in the airline industry for 28 years with Western and Delta Airlines. He enjoyed working with his many friends and colleagues and was a great resource to all.

Roger excelled at skiing and enjoyed many ski adventures with his family and friends throughout his life. You could easily spot him on the hill with his graceful classic style. He was the greatest fan of his two children''s many sports activities and never missed a single game. He was a long time Utah Utes football fan.

He loved to travel and took his family on many memorable and fun vacations, our favorite of which was Paris. Roger enjoyed good food and spending evenings with his friends in the gourmet club. He loved music and enjoyed concerts with his family under the stars at Deer Valley. He was compassionate, considerate, resourceful and always a gentleman.

His is survived by his wife, Margaret; children Allison Marie and Ryan Douglas Hock and parents Irving and Joyce Hock. Preceded in death by his brother Douglas Hock.

The family would like to express their thanks to the nurses and staff of the ICU at LDS Hospital and to IHC Hospice.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, May 28, 2010 at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may visit Thursday, from 6- 8 pm and Friday from 9:45-10:45 am prior to services. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Bountiful.
