Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend passed away March 18, 2013. Roger was born February 19, 1936 in Midvale, Utah to Whitmore Henry Huson Steele and Ione Poulsen. He married Elaine Brandt on June 8, 1962 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Roger is survived by his wife, Elaine, a daughter, Susan (Tim) and a son, Steven (Beckie) and 5 grandchildren, sisters, Beth Anderson, Christine Gates, brothers, Bob Steele, Ken, Ernie, Ed, Richard and Michael Gates.

Services will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bountiful 16th Ward, 720 E. 550 North. A viewing will be held Monday, March 25, from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful and from 12:45-1:45 prior to the funeral services.
