Roma East Dominguez, 92, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on June 1, 1929 in Warren, Utah, the daughter of Alvin David and Louise Wade East. Roma graduated from Weber High School and attended Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. She worked in Procurement at Hill Air Force Base retiring after 30 years of service.

Roma married William J. Dominguez in August 19, 1960 and later remarried at Holy Family Parish in Ogden. They were instrumental in the building of the church where Roma sang in the choir for many years.  Bill passed October 26, 2005.

She was an avid bowler, attended theater plays, enjoyed hiking, camping reading, playing the piano and singing and being with her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed feeding birds in her frontyard and canning the vegetables from her garden.

Roma is survived by her son, David Dominguez and daughter Deana Dominguez Opheikens, (Tyree J Opheikens) grandchildren, Billy T. Dominguez, Kchriss Dominguez, Hope J. Hoskins, Lance F. Lopez, and Travis w. Hoskins; great-grandchild, Shylah Robinson and brother Vernon East.  She was preceded in death be her husband, Bill Dominguez, parents, Alvin and Louise; brothers Dale and Emmett East.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 East 5550 South, South Ogden. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m., with Rosary at 7 p.m., at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Interment, Warren/West Warren Cemetery.
