Ronald Dee Brown passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010.

He was born July 14, 1931 in Ogden, Utah to Ray D. and Mamie Davies Brown.

Ron graduated from Ogden High School in 1950 and attended Weber State College.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was Chief Engineer at Dee Hospital and McKay-Dee Hospital until 1972.

Ron and Ruth opened their family business in 1959, Brown & Son''s Heating and Air-Conditioning. He was a very tenacious businessman with a giving heart. They retired in 2003, but the family tradition will continue with Brown Brothers Heating & A/C.

He loved hunting, fishing, boating, snowmobiling and playing pool at the Senior Center with all his great friends. He enjoyed repairing bikes so all the kids in the neighborhood could ride and have a fun summer.

Ron is survived by his wife, Ruth E. Brown, seven children, Elizabeth Tuck, Douglas (Starla) Brown, Kathleen Christensen, Cheryl (Dennis) Olsen, Patty (Garth) Fothergill, Dee (Linda) Brown, Rick (Jo) Brown, 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, a brother Leon Brown, and three sisters, Marion Wheeler, JeNiel Larson and Beverly Purser.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 25th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

The family will meet friends for a viewing on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
