Ronald Lynn Dalton

Ron was born on March 21, 1966, to his loving parents, Enid and Robert Dalton, in Bountiful, Utah, and passed from this earth life on February 2, 2024, at the age of 57. He will be greatly missed by family and friends he has left behind.

Ron was active in the Boy Scouts program in his younger years and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He loved the outdoors and would take any opportunity offered to go fishing, hunting, and camping. Ron grew to love the game of baseball through watching his twin nephews play for the University of Utah. He spent many hours sitting on the balcony listening to the games he could not attend. Ron also enjoyed reading and was excited to discover audio books. He was an awesome uncle and spent many pleasant afternoons playing games while babysitting his great-nephew and niece.

Ron married Karen Taylor (divorced) and had one son, Brady; married Shauna Walton (divorced) had one daughter, Hannah; married Melissa Hatch (divorced).

Ron is survived by his son, Brady Dalton (Rachel); daughter, Hannah Dalton; siblings Robert Dalton (Jeanna), Lorie Burningham, Dale Dalton (Pam), Andrew Dalton (Katie), and Annette Cook (Terry). He was preceded in death by his parents, Enid Lorainne Potter and Robert E. Dalton; and by various family members.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
