Ronald Eugene Eaves passed away on October 31, 2014. He was born on December 3, 1935 to Corbett B. and Ada Teeter Eaves in Hutchinson, Kansas.
Life was an adventure. Ron was a snow ski instructor, competitive water skier, and rock climber. He enjoyed backpacking, hunting, and fishing; he was an avid outdoorsman. He also had a passion for carpentry and woodwork as well as a gourmet cooking. Always striving to learn new things, no task was too small or challenge too large. Ron loved to travel and experience all the world had to offer.
Ron loved teaching and coaching people; he enjoyed passing on any knowledge he could. “You learn by doing,” was a phrase often heard from him.
Ron is survived by his wife, Pam Eaves; daughters, Amanda (Cody) Rimer, Willard, UT, Kelsey Eaves, Ogden, UT, Valerie (Jim) Nowatzki, Scottsdale, AZ, and Janine (Guy) Bills, Gillette, WY; grandson, Buster; and brother, Bill (Jean) Eaves, Plainville, KS.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents.
His legacy will forever live on through the people who knew and loved him.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at the Mortuary.
Ronald was a badass…that’s all you need to know.
