Ronald Lee Henrie

Ron, 79, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024 in North Ogden, after several years of declining health. He was born October 24, 1945 in Brigham City, Utah to Radcliffe Winn and Beth Nelson Henrie. He married Pamela Kay Gill in the Salt Lake City Temple on May 19, 1967.

Ron was raised in Tremonton, Box Elder County, Utah. Much of his youth was spent working on the farms of his parents and relatives. After graduating from Bear River High in 1964, he served a 24-month mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Canada and Alaska. Ron and his family lived and worked on the farm in Tremonton, Utah for 15 years, moving to Pleasant View, Utah in 1982. Ron had several different jobs, his last being a machinist for the Air Base in Clearfield, Utah. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving four different service missions with Pam.

Survivors include his wife, Pam; sons, Michael R. (Cheryl) Henrie of Mendon, Shane W. (Wendy) Henrie of Harrisville, Chad E. (Violet) Henrie of Roy, Jason L. (Amy) Henrie of Clinton; 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Gary and Doug Henrie; sister Diane Henrie; and grandson, Jaron Terry Henrie.

The family would like to thank the staff in Memory Care at The Lodge of North Ogden, and the Nurses and Aides at A Plus Healthcare for the excellent service, kindness and love shown to Ron and Pam.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Lindquist's North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with the family from 12-1:45 pm prior to the service. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd., Ogden.
