Ronald D. Schooley

1938-2015

Ronald D. Schooley passed away peacefully in his sleep, January 18, 2015.

He was born to Harold and Bernice Schooley on October 16, 1938, the oldest of five children.  He grew up in Pinedale, Wyoming.  Married Charlene Raper, later divorced.  He moved to Utah in 1965, met and married Becky Moser in 1967 together they have three children, Kim (Clay) Fenstermaker, Tracy (Mike) Allred, Kenny (Shalayne) Schooley.

A truck driver from the time he could drive.  He worked for IML, Ameriserve and retired from ABF Freight on January 5, 2015.  He had a passion for rodeo, attending the NFR every year since 1974.

He is survived by his wife and children, nine grandchildren, four and a half great-grandchildren, one brother and two sisters.  Preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may visit family from 12:30-1:30 pm prior to services. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
