Our loving father passed away in his sleep at his home on September 16, 2018.

Ronald E. Stuart He was born on November 30, 1928 to Milton John and Clara Elmina Stuart in Evanston, Wyoming.

He married Charlene Edith Paxton on July 26, 1950 in Ogden, Utah. Four months later he was drafted into the Army. Dad was the recipient of the Purple Heart for injuries received in the Korean War. Ron and Charlene raised their family in Roy, Utah. Their family was sealed for eternity in the Logan Temple on April 29, 1964.

Ron worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 34 years and retired as an engineer.

He moved to Clinton, Utah in 1985. He was very good at repairing motorized vehicles and was a skilled welder. He frequently used his skills to help others. He loved going on vacations, riding motorcycles in the mountains with his kids, and spending time with his brother Tom. Dad was a hardworking, humble man who served as a powerful and loving example to his children. He was also very loyal to his friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Edith, and Charlene, his loving wife of 66 years. He is survived by three sons: Douglas (Linda), Russell (Ruth), and Brian (Sandra); two daughters; Sherry (Allen) Nielsen and Cindy (Jeffery) Bickle; 20 grandchildren; 32 great- grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Tom (Barbara).

The family is especially thankful to Dad's neighbors, Brian and Dixie, who helped in times of need and cared for the yard when Dad no longer could. We are also thankful for Dad's care-givers; Liana, Jacinta, Rika and Morgan for their loving care.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Clinton 21st Ward Chapel, 1828 N. 3000 W. The family will meet with friends on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church.
