Ronald N. Topik, 66, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 after a short illness.

He was born April 19, 1950 in Logan, Utah to Nick H. and Sabina “Sunny” Topik. He grew up in Brigham City, Utah and graduated from Box Elder High School and Utah State University. He also attended Ogden-Weber ATC.

He was a Boy Scout and earned nearly every badge available. He was an Eagle Scout at the age of 13. He loved the sport of tennis and played in high school and college and won many championship games. He loved to go fishing and had a great love for all animals.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Clinton Sixth Ward.

He married Vickie Topik, they later divorced. On November 2, 1999, Ronald married Maureen Rampton Topik. They lived in Corinne, Utah before moving to Clinton, Utah.

Ronald was a prominent Real Estate Salesman in both Weber and Davis Counties. After attending the ATC, he changed his career path to Quality Control-Precision Measurements for Concrete and Welding Specification. He worked for Buehner Concrete, Monroc, Inc., Icon Health and Fitness and GEM.

Ronald is survived by his wife and six children, Tom (Terra) Topik, Justin Topik, Trisha (Kevin) Preece, Mark (Janelle) Topik, Jill (Brandon) Olson, April (Heath) Lewis, three step-children, Bart (Louisa) Nelson, Alyssa (Jace) Mecham, Jackie (Jeremy) Cronquist, 29 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and four grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Davis Hospital and McKay-Dee Hospital doctors and nurses for their kind, loving care and support.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 24th and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
