Ronald D. Vigil
Ronald Dean Vigil, age 53, recently of Sedalia, Colorado passed away at his cabin on Thursday, November 12, 2009, from a stroke. Ron’s parents are Benjamin P. and Lucy Ella M. Vigil of Washington Terrace, Utah.
Ron was born on October 19, 1956 in Ogden, Utah. He attended Bonneville High School and graduated in 1975. He was also a graduate of the University of Utah in Recreational Management. His career was spent in the beautiful mountains of Utah, Idaho and Colorado. At the time of his death, he was working for the US Forest Service as an Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) Program Manager on the Rampart Range in the mountains near Sedalia, Colorado. Ron loved the outdoors. Ron also had a great love of music and sharing music with all those he cared about.
Ron’s children are Isaac P. Vigil of Portland, OR; and Jennifer M. Vigil-Bingman (Travis), of Spokane, WA. His three beautiful grandchildren are, Emma, Korvin, and Kanyian. His siblings are Kenneth M. Vigil (Roma) of Portland, OR; and Paula D. Vigil-Yates (Ken) of Cedar Hills, UT. He has several nieces and nephews. He was married and later divorced from Rose Marie (Smith) Vigil, and had a special longtime companion in Sande Boor.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Family will meet friends at the mortuary on Saturday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
