Ronald “Lynn” Clark

August 31, 1931 – April 21, 2021

Our loving Lynn Clark passed away peacefully April 21, 2021 in his home in Kaysville, Utah. Born in Blackfoot Idaho, Lynn was the seventh of nine children born to Lovina Parker and Parley Gower Clark.

He was a professional barber for thirty years and then transitioned into the United States postal service, retiring after another three decades. In 1950 he married Raona Sjostrom, together they had five children. They later got a divorce. Twenty years later in 1970, he married “his pretty lady” LaRee Thompson and together they had three children.

Lynn and LaRee square danced, cruised and waterskied like no other two peas in a pod. Their love blossomed in the family and gardens they raised together. Our modern-day Mr. and Mrs. Claus were also famous for hand-crafting wooden toys for countless families.

Lynn was a loyal member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A boy scout through and through leading many young lives into the rank of Eagle as a Scout Master. Also, an A+ typist in school, his hundred words a minute skill landed Lynn to be called as financial clerk in two separate wards simultaneously. Not an easy task, he was a master of many trades.

Lynn will be missed for his bright smile and loving humorous heart. He will be remembered in a silly joke, a “falling rock” and a good movie.

Lynn is survived by his wife LaRee and eight children; Karen (Mike), Kevin (Michelle), Raelyn (Devin), Radene (Steve), Launa (Verl), Carla (Gordan), Tina (John), Randy (Kortney). In addition, he adored his 31 grandchildren and 55 great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his eight siblings and infant son, Larry.

The family would like to thank Everest Home Health and Hospice for their loving care given to Lynn.
