Ronette Kay Gibson

Ronette Kay Gibson, 41, passed away peacefully on August 8th, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on May 23, 1976 to Ron and Lenette Merrill of Syracuse. She was a fun, loving, and energetic person who touched the lives of everyone she knew. Every person that has been a part of her life has considered her a friend.

She married her husband Jim Gibson on November 15th, 1996. Together they had three amazing boys, JT, Dallas, and Connor. Ronette fought colon cancer for 2½ years. She fought long and hard for the sake of her family.

She is survived by her parents, husband, and boys, siblings Jimmy (Shauna), Darian (Kris), Michelle (Doyle) Ballingham, Todd (Cheryl), and Derrick (Tonya) along with many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Faith Baptist Church, 2430 N. Fairfield Road, Layton.  Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
