Ronna Lee Miner Roth 1950 ~ 2007

CLEARFIELD - Ronna Lee (Miner) Roth the most loving and endearing of individuals has left this life. Ronna was born May 3, 1950 to Ernest C. and Joyce (Gattung) Miner. Her life was a constant trial of disability, pain and frustration. Through her roughest times she still had that kindred spirit. She could laugh through her tears and a complaint was never forethought. Ronna''s constitution to live and ability to endure will be admired by all who knew her.

Graduated from Clearfield High School. She was a very active, member of the Flag Twirling Team, FHA, she also attended all sports activities and dances. She learned to snow ski and slalom water ski at a very young age. She continued her education at Utah State University. She married Tom Roth in 1969, they later divorced.

Ronna was only given a short time to raise her two daughters before her injuries took over her life. She was a wonderful mother during this period. Ronna worked at Continental Bakery, Davis North Hospital, IRS and sold Real-estate before suffering injury from a bad operation.

Most people will remember Ronna on her three wheel bike in which she probably covered every square inch of Clearfield on more than one occasion. When Ronna was out riding she was always keeping her eyes open for someone that had time to talk. When she lived on her own she never stopped looking for that miracle cure. She always believed she would find one. Ronna was a person who always spread joy and seemed to bubble. She handled life with a smile.

Survived by her mother and father, children Donna Hartley and Shonna Strickler, four grandchildren, Christina, Jackie, Sheyenne and Jacob, sister Dee Murray, brothers Blake (Linda) Miner, Ed (Kathy) Miner, many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ronna was preceded in death by her grandparents Frank and Lela Gattung and Harris and Faith Miner.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State Street. Friends and family may call Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden.

We want to thank the nurses, staff and aides at Rocky Mountain Care Center in Clearfield for the loving care they gave Ronna and a special thanks to Kathy and Linda.

Ronna rest in peace and know you will always be in our hearts.
