Rose Annie Nelson

Rose Annie Nelson, 90, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011 at her home.

She was born on November 2, 1920 in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of Benjamin and Alta Flanders Meredith.

Rose married Clarence E. Nelson on July 12, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was an active member of the LDS Clearfield 4th Ward serving as a chorister in the Jr. Sunday School and a dedicated visiting teacher.

She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, camping, fishing, and being with family.

Survived by her husband Clarence, two sons, Robert (Shawnie) Nelson, Layton; Chris Nelson, Harrisville; two daughters, Jane (Stan) Ferguson, Pleasant Grove; Nancy (Jeff) Ford, So. Jordan; 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and sister Viola Anderson, Sandy.

Preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Norma and Beverly and brother Hyrum.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State Street. Friends may visit family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
