Rosemarie Larsen Helquist
June 7, 1950 – November 23, 2016
Our sweet Rose, beautiful wife, beloved Mom, Mimi, Sister, Aunt and genuine friend has been set free from an 11 year struggle with many health issues. Rose was born in Ephraim Utah to Lyal M. Larsen and Ann Resch Larsen. She was raised in Layton Utah and attended schools in Layton/Kaysville graduating from Davis High School in 1968. Rose and Dave began their 49-year adventure of life serving with the USAF. Their first home was at Mather AFB California and then Bitburg Air Base Germany. Rose and Dave proudly supported and served our country and community for many years. Rose and Dave’s special daughter Christy Ann was a blessing to them. Dave and Rose eventually settled in Kaysville. Rose’s beautiful daughters Heidi and Annalisa are a reflection of her sweet spirit and inter-beauty and will carry on her legacy. Rose loved her grandchildren! She only wished she could have spoiled them more, and been able to support them on their way through life. Rose had many talents; sewing, crocheting, and she loved art and oil painting. Rose held many jobs during her life. Waitress at Bratten’s Gotto Ogden, Office Manager at Hammon Cabinet Layton and she retired as a IRS Tax Examiner in Ogden. Rose loved to socialize and she made many friends during her life. Rose loved everyone unconditionally, and always looked for the best in a person.
Proceeded in death by Parents Lyal, Ann Larsen, Daughter Christy Ann, Nephew Christian Larsen. Surviving are husband Dave, daughters Heidi Marie and Annalisa (Bryan) Allen, Grandson’s Brexton, Maximus, Liam and Granddaughter Sadie Rose, Sister Marianne (Ken) Peterson, Brothers Steve (Linda) Larsen, Mike (Robyn) Larsen, and many other Larsen and Helquist relatives whom she loved.
