Roy Lester Bray, Jr. passed away at his home in Clearfield, Utah on Saturday July 27, 2024. He was born on August 13, 1962 in Metairie, New Orleans, Louisiana to Roy Lester Sr. and Martha Ellen Butler Bray. He lived in Clearfield, Utah and graduated from Clearfield High School. He worked for Lifetime Industries. He was a member of the Layton Hills Baptist Church.
He was married to Lilia Blanco and they share one daughter.
Roy loved spending time with family and his best friends, Troy and Margie Bradley. He loved to camping, play darts, collecting Coca Cola memorabilia, and Hot Wheels.
He is survived by his daughter Kayla (Teagan) Badger, mother, Martha Ellen Butler Bray, Clearfield, UT., sisters; Patricia Annette Bray MacPeek (Lee), Clearfield, UT., Dorothy Louise Bray Christensen, Malad, ID., brother; Gordon Allen Bray, Clearfield, UT., former spouse Lilia Blanco Bray, aunts; Wanda Sanders of Texas, Betty Smart of Texas, nephews; Matthew (Debbie) MacPeek of Wyoming, Steven (Dani) Jones, Clinton, UT., Joshua (Genesis) Jones, Roy, UT., Daniel MacPeek, many great nieces, nephews and two grandchildren.
Roy was preceded in death by his father Roy Lester Bray, Sr, John MacPeek and his son Brock.
Funeral services will be held Friday August 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah. Family and friends may visit Thursday August 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary prior to the service.
