May 24, 1976 – November 30, 2014

Roy Holmen Jr., our beloved son, brother and uncle passed away with family by his side November 30, 2014 at the age of 38.

He was born on May 24, 1976 in Mountain Home, Idaho. He graduated from Roy High School in 1994 and until recently worked in IT at FJ Management.

Video games, reading and spending time with his family are some of the many things Roy enjoyed in life.

Roy is survived by his mother Elizabeth Darlene Holmen, his sister Sheila (Daniel) Martinez, niece Destiny, nephews Marcus, Daniel and Roman, Aunt Wenche (Leroy) Johnson, and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father Roy Holmen Sr., two brother Leif and Travis, grandparents Reidar and Rigmor Holmen and Charles and Maybelle Gumben.

A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
