Roy "Jim" Jameson Hardin

September 2, 1960 — April 4, 2023

Our loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend fondly known as Jim passed away at age 62 at his home in Roy, Utah on April 4, 2023.

Jim was an entrepreneur at heart. He started and ran several successful companies while raising his family. His latest venture, Customshotskis was dear to his heart, as most days Jim could be found on the mountain.

He was an avid snowboarder. He loved to cook, travel, scuba dive, sky dive, and spend time with his family. He was so full of adventure. Jim was an instant friend to anyone he met.  He had a loud booming voice, a boisterous laugh, and could talk circles around anyone. To know him was to love him.

Jim was an amazing father to his four children; Jenni, Nikki [Briggs], Wendi [Mike], and Eric [Michelle]. He leaves behind seven grandchildren who he adored and who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Robert and Judith Hardin, and his wife and best friend of 25 years, Melanie Hardin.

Jim, you were loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. A celebration of life will be held on May 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Eden Park community center, 2100 N 5600 E, Eden, Utah 84310. Services entrusted to Lindquist's Roy Mortuary.
