Royce Lamont Seamons

Royce Lamont Seamons, passed peacefully away on May 2, 2018, in Ogden, Utah, of causes incident to age. He was born on February 8, 1931, in Franklin, Idaho, to Adra Bennett Seamons and Royce Porter Seamons. He graduated from Preston High School and started his career as a lineman for Mountain Bell, working his way up to the position of engineer.
He enjoyed his job and passed on his knowledge by creating training programs and serving as a consultant, even after his retirement.
He was a lifelong member of the Eagles organization, serving as President and holding several other local and state positions. He was also a member of the Elks. He could often be found on the golf course or the dance floor, and after his retirement he enjoyed traveling.
Royce is survived by his children, Bob (Kay) Seamons, David Seamons, Donna (Tim) Chadick, and Jim (Jaylene) Seamons; and stepchildren, Larry Taylor and Cheryl Huffman; as well as numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Sharon Stoddard. He was preceded in death by daughters, Sandy and Rozanne; stepdaughter, Cheri; and sister, Molly.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, Ogden. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
