KAYSVILLE a" Ruby Bowcutt Whitesides Dutson, 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2008, surrounded by her family. Ruby was raised and educated in Logan, UT, and graduated from Logan High School and Weber State. For the past 75 years, she has resided in the Layton-Kaysville area. For many years, she was a head cook and later a librarian for the Davis School District.
As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she held many positions. Her prime interest was her family. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and played an active part in their lives. Ruby was an optimist and always found the good in people and made the best of every situation. She had unconditional love and acceptance for everyone, and especially for children. Her smile and positive attitude where contagious. Dancing and serving others were her passion, but she loved to travel and had an adventurous spirit that took her to many interesting places.

Eighteen grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granchild, and one sister, Maude Pistoia.
