Ruby N. Gallegos, 84, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015.  She was born on December 28, 1932 in Rio Arriba, New Mexico to Melchiades “Mel” and Simona Lujan Naranjo.  She married Sabino O. Gallegos on May 19, 1956 in Elko, NV.

Spending time with her family meant the world to Ruby.

She was a member St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Ruby is survived by her sons, Anthony Gallegos and Michael Gallegos, Sr.; daughter, Nancy Gallegos; five grandchildren, Melissa Milbyer, James (Charlie) Gallegos, Kyle (Megan) Gallegos, Michael Gallegos, Jr., and Brooke Gallegos, four great-grandchildren, Lilianna Lopez, Riliee Gallegos, Tylie Anderson, and Adrian King; brother, Willie Naranjo; and sisters, Helen Naranjo and Barbara Rios.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother, Joe Naranjo.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24h St., Ogden.  Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
