Ruby Elizabeth Bagley Kunz, 86, passed away Friday, December 21, 2012, at the home of her son Klay in Kaysville, Utah, surrounded by her family.

Ruby was born in Victor, Idaho, May 17, 1926, daughter of George Parley and Heda Rozella Johnson Bagley. She grew up and lived her entire adult life in Teton Valley. She attended Teton High School and Ricks College. She obtained her teaching certificate and taught elementary school in Idaho Falls.

In l947, she married M. Grant Kunz and they made their home in Cedron, Idaho. To that union was born five sons; Michael Grant (Marcia), Val Dean (Susan), Brad Wynn (Rosalie), Klay Morgan (Melanie), Derid Kurt (Sharon) and one daughter, Dawn Ann Graves (Bret).

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions including Relief Society President, scout leader and primary callings. She loved gardening and flowers of all kinds, with her favorites being all varieties of African Violets. She treasured family vacations and spending time with her friends in Victor.

She loved her grandchildren and so enjoyed being called "Grandma Ruby" by many loved ones, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her six children and their spouses, 20 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and T.P. Kitters survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Verl P. and J. Wendell Bagley, a sister Ruth Kearsley, and a grandson, Derid Kurt (DJ) Kunz, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 28, 2012, at the LDS chapel in Victor, Idaho. Viewing times will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Friday, prior to the services, both times at the church. Burial will be in the Cedron Cemetery.
