Ruby Shannon LeFevre

Ruby Shannon LeFevre, 94, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Washington Terrace Care Center.

She was born September 16, 1917 in Ft. Worth, Texas the daughter of Robert Kolb and Emma Catherine Honeycutt.

On August 15, 1937, Shannon married Charles Richard LeFevre in Ft. Worth, Texas. They family later moved to Ogden, Utah where Shannon enjoyed working for JC Penney Co. and the Standard Examiner, retiring after many years as a proof-reader.

She enjoyed gardening, creating a welcome environment for all her friends and family to sit and enjoy. She will be remembered for her beautiful yellow iris. She was a kind, compassionate and generous person, who was quick witted and known for her one-liners. Above all she was a devoted wife and mother. I love you Mom.

Shannon is survived by her son, Charles Robert LeFevre.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Lulie.

The family wishes to thank the outstanding caregivers at IHC Home Health and Hospice.

Interment will be Friday, July 20th at 12 noon at the Rosehill Cemetery in Ft. Worth, Texas.
