Ruby R. Mitchell Ruby R. Mitchell, 93, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family Saturday, January 9, 2010. Ruby was born on September 24, 1916 in Montgomery, Tennessee to Bessie and Burt Pipken. Ruby was a member of the Clearfield Community Church since 1953 and Beth Arabah Chapter #24. She graduated from the Deaconess School of Nursing in Indiana 1942. She married Clarence Mitchell August 31, 1942. He passed away January 12, 1978. Ruby touched many lived with her generosity and love and touched the lives of many people. Ruby is survived by her two children Steve (Claudia) Mitchell, Sally (Ron) Peterson, grandchildren, Lane, Alan, Brent, Wendy, Sandy and seven great-grandchildren. Also survived by two sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State Street. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice.
