LAYTON a€" Ruby June Smith Poulson, 82, passed away Monday, June 1, 2009, at 11:35 a.m.

She was born June 1, 1927 at 11:25 a.m. in Price, Utah the daughter of Issac and Elidia Griffith Smith.

Ruby married John Brown Poulson on August 17, 1946 in Salt Lake City. They were sealed for eternity on November 20, 1976. She was a member of the LDS Church.

Ruby loved family get-togethers, square dancing, seeing and spending time with her great-grandchildren. She always had a smile for everyone and a great sense of humor. Ruby enjoyed birds and had a kind and loving spirit.

Surviving are her sons, Michael (Shea), Layton; Richard (Janese), Clearfield; daughter, Cynthia Morgan, Arlington, WA; 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband John, eight brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 5, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
