Rulon C. Stephens
SOUTH OGDEN – Rulon Clark Stephens, our loving husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, uncle, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2010.
He was born July 20, 1921 to Walter and Lucy Stephens.
Rulon met and married Meriam Pledger on February 12, 1942.
He served with the U.S. Army Air Corp.
Rulon retired from Hill Air Force Base where he received many awards as a semi truck driver and heavy crane operator for the most miles driven without any accidents.
He was always good at fixing anything and making things better than new.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he was a High Priest. He served a Stake Mission and he and Meriam served at the family history library as research assistants.
He is survived by his wife, Meriam, his children and spouses are Linda and Ed Collins, Craig and Karen Stephens, Janean Huss and Lynette and Nevin Heslop; 17 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
He was always a great example to everyone.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
