Russell Widdison Hull

Russell Widdison Hull, 74, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born January 12, 1943 in Ogden, Utah to Alton John and Lenna Widdison Hull. He graduated from Weber High School.

On June 4, 1965, Russell married Lynnette Christensen in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission to Texas and throughout his life, he faithfully served in many callings.

Russell worked as a baker for 47 years, the last 22 years as the Bakery manager at Bowman’s Market.

He enjoyed his grandchildren, attending their plays, concerts and sporting events. He also enjoyed golfing with his longtime friend, Jim.

Russell is survived by his wife, Lynnette, three sons, Lynn (Rebecca) Hull, Thom (Marla) Hull, Mark Hull, one daughter, Vanessa (David) Webster, 16 grandchildren, two brothers, Dean (Carolean) Hull, Joe (Sandra) Hull, two sisters, Zenda (Val) Butler, Elizabeth Hull, and sister-in-law, Pam Hull. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Donna Hull, and one brother, Jay Hull.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2017 at the West Point 6th Ward Chapel, 3290 West 800 North. The family will meet with friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
