Russell Lee Snow, age 62, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday February 17, 2023. Russell was born on June 16, 1960 to his father, John C. Snow and mother, Ruby Mae (Law) Snow who he is now reunited with in heaven. Russell is survived by all four of his siblings.
In 1984, Russell married the love of his life, Patti Lynn (Grey) Snow, and together were able to create a loving and happy marriage of 38 years along with raising three daughters. Russell is survived by his wife, Patti and three children, Chelsea Ann Snow, Ciera Mae (Snow) Johnson, and Kaylee Lynn Snow. Russell also was survived by his only grandchild, Lincoln Lee Johnson who was named in his honor.
Russell was known for his dedication to his family and his endless love he had for those around him. Apart from his family, Russell was deeply in love with hunting and the outdoors.
From a very early age, he enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting, and camping. Russell was very skilled at hunting and particularly enjoyed bow hunting. Russell was able to enjoy the outdoors throughout his life at his favorite place to be in the world, Joe’s Valley. Here, Russell, his father, and siblings built a hunting cabin where many laughs, bonds, and memories were created.
Russell is known for his resilient attitude and immense strength that he has displayed over his 62 years of life. He will always be remembered for his famous words, “It’ll be okay.” Russell will be incredibly missed by his wife, daughters, grandson and loved ones. Happy hunting in heaven.
Funeral services will be held for Russell on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N Fairfield Rd Layton, Utah. Friends may visit with family Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary prior to the service. Please feel free to attend if you would like to pay your respects.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
