We are saddened by the loss of our beautiful family; Russell Brandon Smith, Shawna Michelle Judd Smith, Tylee Elizabeth Smith and Blake Russell Smith.

Russell Brandon Smith was born October 29, 1985 at Royal Air Force Base, Lakenheath, UK to Larry and Joanne Bouck Smith. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Weber State University in Logistics. He loved his family, the outdoors and baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves.

Shawna Michelle Judd Smith was born July 12, 1988 in Oxnard, California, a daughter of Bruce Judd and Sheila Renee Lyon Pruitt. Shawna was a devoted mother who loved children, especially her children. She was the Pre-school Director at Busy Bee Day Care. She was a loving, classy, beautiful person inside and out. She enjoyed arts and crafts. She loved her family more than anything else. Russell and Shawna were married June 6, 2009 in Layton.

Tylee Elizabeth Smith was our little sassy red-headed princess, who danced through life. She loved to dress up and sing. She just received her 1st softball trophy.

Blake Russell Smith had an infectious smile and chubby cheeks. He was fearless and his favorite pastime was eating.

Russell, Shawna, Tylee and Blake are survived by Shawna’s parents, Sheila (Dean) Pruitt, Bruce (Laura) Judd, Russell’s parents, Larry (Joanne) Smith, siblings, Steven (Daniela) Judd, Summer Judd, Tyler, Misty Durrant, Trey, Tawnice and Trevyn Pruitt, Rhonda Smith, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many close friends.

The family will meet with friends Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Alpine Church Layton, 254 West 2675 North. Interment to follow at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 North Fairfield Road.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Primary Children’s Hospital in the Smith’s family name.
