The last original Campbell clan, Ruthie slipped through the veil November 11, 2023, to reunite with family she dearly missed.
Mom was the youngest daughter of Harold and Beatrice Farr Campbell, born June 19, 1932 in Ogden, Utah; the sister of Fawn (Ray), Russel (Florence) Arthur (Bardee), Hugh (Jean), Marilyn (Bill), Joan (Lee), and Gaylen (Bonnie).
Mom was a loving mother of four children, Brent (Joann), Jan, Carilee (Gary), and Brian. She was grandmother to 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her great-grandchild, Aiden.
Mom will be known for her great compassion and love for all she met. She had that rare ability to help everyone she associated with feel included, safe, and important. She served in many capacities of her wards.
She set the standard and bar she wanted her children to strive for. After many years, she had the courage to go back and obtain her high school diploma. She made many friends with the kids in her class, and they truly loved her.
She was her children’s number one cheerleader in whatever they were involved in. Her great sense of humor helped all of us push through hard times.
She will be dearly missed, but we eagerly look forward to being reunited in the future.
Special thanks to Julia for her attention to Mom’s hair and to Cascade Springs Home Health and Hospice, Jeff, Jamie, and Courtney.
