Ruth Christensen

Born on March 4th, 1930 to Ruth and Ralph Hesse, Ruth died January 23rd at the age of 83 after suffering a stroke.

She attended South High School in Salt Lake City and later worked in the trucking industry at National Carloading and IML.  She married Richard W. Turville and had three sons and after divorce married Lyle A. Christensen who had a son and two daughters of his own.

She loved the outdoors and all animals, especially moose, found up at the family cabin in the Grass Creek area outside Coalville, Utah.  She called the cabin "Our Special Place" and was always happiest there.   She was a Mom to everyone and was loved by all who met her.

She is survived by her three sons, Denny (Jo-Anne Lee) Turville, Dean (Gay) Turville and Bruce (Patty) Turville along with Dennis (Anita) Christensen, Linda (Gary) Keller and Dixie (Ed) Ercanbrack.  She had 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful, UT where friends may visit with the family from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services.  Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.  Condolences may be shared at www.lindquistmortuary.com
