RUTH CHRISTENSEN CLARK

1923-2014

Ruth Christensen Clark, born September 27, 1923 in Elwood, Utah died peacefully in her home October 2, 2014 surrounded by her family.  She is the daughter of Moses Orlando and Della Rachel Hill Christensen and is survived by her husband, J; her children, Jolene, Steven (Joyce), Su Lin (Nathan), Chris (Linda), Mark (Shellene), Caralee (Grant); her 30 grandchildren and her 23 (soon to be 28) great-grandchildren.

Ruth and J were married in the Salt Lake Temple on August 17, 1951 and she remains a faithful member of the Church.  She enjoyed serving in many different callings in the Church and served three missions, two in the Chicago area and a family history mission in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She’s a great example to her entire family and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2014 in the Bountiful 11 ^th Ward Chapel at 115 Wicker Lane, Bountiful, Utah.  A viewing will be held prior to the services from 9:00-10:30 a.m.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Estates.  Arrangements under the direction of Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.  Condolences may be shared at www.lindquistmortuary.com
