Ruth Melba Frost

Ruth Melba Reno Frost, 86, passed away Friday, April 10, 2009 at her home with her four children by her side.

She was born February 11, 1923 in Ogden, Utah to Victor George and Mary Jeanette Allred Reno.

On November 1, 1947, Ruth married Blaine Frost in Ogden. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple.

She was employed by the Weber School District as a cook at the Washington Terrace Elementary school. She was employed at the Defense Depot of Ogden until her retirement.

Ruth loved to travel with Blaine to Westport, WA, on the many trips where they went salmon fishing. She enjoyed crocheting and being surrounded by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she greatly loved.

Surviving is her son, Gary Blaine (Julie) Frost, Green River, WY; three daughters, Connie Lou (Vic) Robite, Farr West; Judy Frost and Vicky Lynn Frost, both of Washington Terrace; 11 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one grandson, David Blaine Frost, three brothers and eight sisters, all who loving greeted her in their loving arms.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 15th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
