Ruth Ellen Belnap Hoggan August 1, 1924 a€" May 17, 2012 "Together Again"

Ruth Ellen Belnap Hoggan passed away on May 17, 2012. She was born in Ogden, Utah to Lois Foster and Hyrum Belnap. She attended school in Ogden, graduating from Ogden High School in 1942. She married Marvin Hoggan on February 26, 1947 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were married for 64 years.

She was employed by the LDS Church. She served as a secretary at the Weber State University Institute of Religion for many years. She served faithfully in many callings in the LDS Church. She will be remembered for her musical talent, faith, and love for her family.

Ruth is survived by her children, Michele (John) Hinojosa, David, Lisa, and Jonathan; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and brother, Ronald Belnap. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin; son, Richard Scott; grandson, Tyler Hinojosa; brother, David; and sister, Kathleen.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Country Hills Ward, 1401 Country Hills Dr. Friends may visit family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
