Ruth Mae Hood
OGDEN – Ruth Mae Hood, 86, died Sunday, December 12, 2010 in Ogden of natural causes.
She was born March 15, 1924 in Ogden, a daughter of Fred Delos and Mable May Young Hood.
Ruth worked as a lab assistant at St. Benedict’s Hospital, as a medical assistant for Drs. Pincock, Norris and McKee, and was a kit assembler/sample maker at Shepherd’s Bush.
She was gifted in needlework, painting and ceramics. She was an excellent seamstress, a movie collector and loved animals, especially cats. Ruth’s favorite friends were the Paramedics and Fire Department – she joked that they were her “private chariot service”. She will be missed by her friends at Shepherd’s Bush, Stop-N-Shop, Smiths, and Blair’s Service.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery.
