Ruth Cloward Moss
LAYTON – Ruth C. Moss, 82, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2009 in Ogden, Utah.
She was born April 14, 1926 in Moroni, Utah, the daughter of David and Lettie (Maria Boletta) Cloward.
Ruth married Lee Max Moss January 8, 1947. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. He passed away June 10, 1990.
Mom’s greatest joy was her family and serving them. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving three missions and also serving as a temple worker. Her influence has reached around the world. Ruth made everyone feel very special and loved.
Surviving are her children; David (Debbie) Moss, Linda (Phil) Gibbons, John (Markaye) Moss, Tom (Cheryl) Moss, Jerry (LeAnn) Moss, 31 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Gale Bangerter, her parents, four brothers, four sisters, and one great-grandson.
Funeral service will be held Friday, April 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Rock Chapel, 2475 N. Valley View Drive, Layton, UT. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
