Ryan J. Jones returned home to his Heavenly Father on November 5, 2021. Ryan was born on December 12, 1969 in Cedar City, UT, to Rudy and Janis Jones.

He was sealed for time and all eternity to Lisa Jones in the Logan Temple on August 29, 1992.

Ryan was quick to make others laugh and gave his full effort in everything he did. He loved the outdoors, hunting, gardening, and photography. But above all, his life was marked by an unprecedented love for his family, students, and friends. Ryan was blessed with many talents that he used to enrich the lives of others. His work as a teacher, photographer, husband, and father enhanced the lives of everyone around him.

Ryan is survived by the love of his life, Lisa; his children, Jesse (Katey), Meghan, Mckay (Ty), Kirtlyn, Rylee, and Bridger; his parents, Janis and Rudy; his siblings, Rhett, Josh, and Heather (Dusty); his grandson, Flint and future grandson, Ryder; and countless others whose lives were blessed from his efforts.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Riverdale 4th Ward, 5500 South 1175 West. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
