Ryan Neil Knudsen
CLINTON – Ryan Neil Knudsen, 34, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2009 at McKay-Dee Hospital surrounded by his loving family, due to complications of cancer.
He was born January 23, 1975 in Ogden, Utah the son of Ursel Neil and Mary Jean Germer Knudsen.
Ryan graduated from Clearfield High School and LDS Seminary in 1993. He attended Weber State University and was a graduate of Stevens Henager College and completed an electronics course at DATC.
Ryan was employed at Hill AFB in Electronics Repair for the past eight years.
He was a member of the LDS Church and received his Eagle Scout.
Ryan liked hunting, fishing, camping and watching movies with friends.
Ryan was a kind, loving, and gentle soul that always spoke kindly of others and was a great joy to his mother, father, and sisters. He was patient and uncomplaining through his years of illnesses.
Surviving are his parents, grandmother, Vica H. Germer, sisters, Lisa (Scott) Hughes, Stacy (Curtis) Yorgason, Jill (Jason) Potokar, nieces and nephews, Connor, Katelyn and Landon Hughes, Reagan, Paige and Shay Yorgason, and Camille, Cameron and Dakota Potokar.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred Germer, Ursel and Loa Knudsen and one cousin.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 8, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Clinton Stake Center, 1288 W. 1300 No. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
