Shirley JoRene Campbell Denning, 76, of Layton died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at McKay-Dee Hospital, Ogden, Utah.

She was born September 17, 1931 in Pocatello, Idaho, a daughter of Earl and Madge Regan Campbell. She graduated from college in Pocatello as a Registered Nurse while there she met and married her sweetheart Floyd LaMar Denning on July 12, 1952 in Ogden. She has always been a happy, fun person that loved her family very much.

She has lived in Layton for the past 25 years. Previous to that they lived in the Los Angeles area where she worked for Dr. Haughton for many years.

Survivors are her husband, Floyd LaMar Denning, daughter Debbie Ann Phillips, Clearfield; two sons David Richard Denning, Salt Lake City; William Earl Denning, Tuscon, AZ; one precious granddaughter Amber Phillips, IL; two brothers Robert Campbell, Reno, NV; Richard Campbell, Star, ID; two sisters Colleen Miller, Los Angeles, CA; Carol Aldridge, Star, ID; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
