Sabino Florencio Archuleta (Archie) passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013. He was born October 7, 1925 to Francisco and Clarita Archuleta in Las Nutrias, NM. He married Francis Martinez on May 30, 1945.

Daddy was known for his sense of humor, teasing and practical jokes. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and other outdoor activities with his family. Deer hunting season was his favorite time of year. He was an electrician for Colorado Electric and retired from Hill AFB after 42 years of Federal service in 1988.

He is survived by his loving wife, Francis; children: James Archuleta, SLC; Sabino (Angela) Archuleta, Missoula, MT; Maria Saleh, Oakland, CA; Linda (Darrel) Einspahr, Ogden; Joyce (Phillip) Scherrer, Clinton; Clara (Patrick) Lynch, Layton; Cindy Billot, Colorado Springs, CO; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and his faithful little furry companion Nikki. Also survived by sisters Margie Montano and Josephine Smith.

Preceded in death by son William, sister Ollie Gaylord, and brothers Joseph, Francisco and Jacob Archuleta.

Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 S. Chapel Street, Layton, UT. Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. A Vigil with Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch.
