Sabino O. Gallegos

Sabino O. Gallegos, 82, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014.  He was born on December 15, 1931 in Edith, Colorado to Victor and JoseFita G. Archuleta Gallegos. He lived most of his adult life in Ogden where he met and married Ruby Naranjo on May 19, 1956 in Elko, NV.

He was a member of the Catholic Church.  He retired from Hill Air Force Base after 28 years.

Sabino enjoyed fishing, camping, and going on walks.  He loved the time spent with his family.

Sabino is survived by his sons, Anthony Gallegos and Michael Gallegos Sr.; daughter, Nancy Gallegos; five grandchildren, Melissa Milbyer, James (Charlie) Gallegos, Kyle (Megan) Gallegos, Michael Gallegos, Jr., and Brooke Gallegos; three great-grandchildren, Lilianna Lopez, Rilee Gallegos, and Tylie Anderson; three brothers, and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24 ^th St.  Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. with Rosary at 6 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
