Sadie Elizabeth Neddo

2008 — 2024

We honor and remember the life of Sadie Elizabeth Neddo, a beautiful soul who touched our hearts in ways words cannot fully express. At just 16 years old, she was full of promise, joy, and kindness that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Sadie had a bright smile, a contagious laugh that brought joy to all around her, and a heart full of love. She was so very kind. She always made people feel seen and valued. Her warmth and empathy were gifts.

Sadie loved spending time with her friends the most, especially grabbing food and driving around until the gas tank was almost empty. She loved Elvis or maybe just Austin Butler. She loved dancing on the drill team so much. She was loving the ready, set, teach program at the school where she got to work in an elementary classroom. She loved kids and babies. Sadie was so excited to bring her robot baby home with her, and she got a perfect score. She just applied to the National Honor Society and was looking forward to getting as many cords as possible for graduation in 2026. She was so smart and also so silly which we loved about her.

It’s hard to understand why she was taken from us so soon, but in our grief, we have a hope in the resurrection. We know that Jesus Christ made it possible for all of us to see her again. We know she’s in the arms of Jesus and loved ones that went before her. Her spirit will live on in all of us — in the laughter, in the love, in the ways we choose to carry her light forward. As we mourn her loss, let us celebrate the amazing girl she was. Let us find comfort in Jesus Christ and His Atonement.

A wake in honor of Sadie will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
